We came across this amazing video by brother Almir, explaining the wisdom behind the prohibition of Riba (interest). In this particular video, he uses the 2008 Global Financial Crisis (GFC) to explain how the problem of unequal exchange of money led to such corruption and disaster. More importantly he explains and justifies Islam’s teaching on the matter as well.
It is really fascinating, and he is able to take such a complex topic and distill it in easy to understand concepts, especially for those of us not predisposed to knowledge of finances and economy. MashaAllah, it is a really informative video that help to boost your iman and understand the perfection of Allah’s legislation against Riba, and the inevitable societal destruction that it leads to.
