Assalaamu Alaikuum
Back with another Tafseer series, this one by Ilm foundation with brother Habib. He does such an amazing job with analyzing each ayat in suratul-Baqarah, providing narrative and historical context. What is most interesting and engaging about this series is that he does his reflections to our current time through an eschatological lens. He unambiguously makes many connections in the Quran to our current age, the Dajjalic age, or the age that is the onset of the greatest trial for humanity.
He draws lessons from each ayat that help strengthen the believer and help us in our current situation marked by widespread confusion, mischief, and deception. Brother Habib shares such a unique perspective in this tafseer through the widespread fitan of our time, which is why it is a must watch, in sha Allah!
