Brothers and Sisters, Alhamdulillah, we have embarked on this series by brother Khalid Green, MashaAllah, on the Sharh Al-Sunnah by Imam Muzani! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Description of the text:<\/strong> Al-Muzani\u2019s Sharhus-Sunnah is a short treaty on the Aqeedah of the people of Sunnah, written by Imam Al-Muzani (175-264H), companion and disciple of Imam ash-Shafi’i. It covers all of the foundational issues of faith in Islam including, Allah\u2019s ascendancy over the creation, the Qadr (pre-decree), Iman, the Qur\u2019an, the Attributes of Allah, the Resurrection, Seeing Allah in the Hereafter, the Companions and much more. <\/em><\/span>https:\/\/salafibookstore.com\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brother Khalid, MashaAllah, translates and explains each chapter highlighting the Manhaj of the Salaf, meaning the methodology of righteous predecessors, in their following and understanding of Islam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a good series for those of us who want an overview of the sound beliefs on the main articles of faith, from the perspective of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah – meaning adherents to the Qu’ran and Sunnah as understood and implemented by the first three righteous generations of Islam.  It is also helpful as a good recap if you are currently learning the topic of Aqeedah more in depth (as all of us hopefully all of us are, in sha Allah). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brother Khalid also touches on some contrasting beliefs from deviated sects of Islam, and the extremes with which they stray from the sound creed outlined my Imam Muzani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May Allah bless Brother Khalid in his efforts, and make the knowledge he is sharing a means of benefit for the ummah, Ameen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
